Watchlyst – Price Alerts allows you to control whether the app monitors product prices and sends price drop notifications to your customers.
If you need to temporarily pause price tracking and email alerts, you can do so directly from the Watchlyst Dashboard without uninstalling the app.
🚀 How to Disable Price Monitoring
1️⃣ Open the Watchlyst App
From your Shopify Admin, navigate to:
Apps → Watchlyst – Price Alerts
2️⃣ Locate the Monitoring Setting
On the Watchlyst Dashboard homepage, find the option:
🔍 Monitor prices and send email notifications
3️⃣ Turn the Toggle OFF
Switch the toggle OFF.
Once disabled:
- ⏸️ The app will stop monitoring product price changes.
- 📧 No new price drop email notifications will be sent to subscribed customers.
- 📋 Existing customer subscriptions will remain saved and can be resumed at any time.
🔄 Resume Price Monitoring
To start monitoring prices and sending notifications again:
- Open the Watchlyst Dashboard.
- Turn the Monitor prices and send email notifications toggle ON.
Once enabled, Watchlyst will resume monitoring product prices based on your configured schedule and automatically notify customers when their target price is reached.
