Location Blacklist

The Location Blacklist feature allows you to exclude specific Shopify locations from inventory synchronisation.

When a location is blacklisted, Flo SKU Sync will ignore all inventory changes for duplicate SKUs at that location while continuing to synchronise inventory for all other active locations.

This is useful if you manage inventory independently at certain warehouses, retail stores, or fulfilment locations.

How It Works

Suppose your store has three Shopify locations:

  • Location A
  • Location B
  • Location C

If you only want to synchronise duplicate SKUs at Location A and Location B, simply add Location C to the Location Blacklist.

Once blacklisted:

  • Inventory continues to sync for Location A.
  • Inventory continues to sync for Location B.
  • Inventory at Location C is excluded from all synchronisation activities.

How to Blacklist a Location

  1. Open the Flo SKU Sync app.
  2. Navigate to the Location Blacklist section.
  3. Select the Shopify location(s) you want to exclude.
  4. Save your changes.

The selected locations will immediately be excluded from future inventory synchronisation.

Benefits

  • Choose exactly which Shopify locations participate in inventory synchronisation.
  • Exclude warehouses or locations managed separately.
  • Prevent unwanted inventory updates at selected locations.
  • Maintain different inventory workflows across multiple locations.

Important Notes

  • Inventory at blacklisted locations will not be synchronised by Flo SKU Sync.
  • Quantity updates for blacklisted locations are disabled in both the Quick View and Detailed View pages.
  • Inventory synchronisation continues normally for all non-blacklisted locations.

Tip: Use the Location Blacklist feature when certain Shopify locations should remain independent from your duplicate SKU inventory synchronisation workflow.
