Spreadr uses Shopify's Billing API. This means that all Spreadr subscription charges are billed through Shopify and appear directly on your monthly Shopify invoice, keeping your billing secure and consolidated.
Before You Begin
- Ensure that your Shopify store has a valid primary payment method configured in your Shopify admin settings.
- Review the available plan options in the Spreadr Pricing Plans guide.
Billing Cycle and Invoicing
- Consolidated Invoice: You will not receive a separate bill from Spreadr. App subscription fees appear as a line item on your regular Shopify store invoice.
- Prorated Calculations: If you choose to upgrade or downgrade your plan in the middle of a billing cycle, Shopify will automatically compute a prorated cost. You'll receive credit for unused days on the old plan and a charge for the new plan's remaining days.
- Shopify Security: Spreadr never collects, handles, or stores your credit card details. All transactions are securely processed by Shopify's merchant infrastructure.
Tips
- Track App Invoices: You can view all billing details, past receipts, and active application cycles in your Shopify Admin under Finances > Billing.
- Multi-Store Invoicing: If you run multiple Shopify stores, each store requires a separate app installation and will be billed individually on its respective Shopify invoice.
Important Notes
Note on Refunds:
Since Shopify handles billing, we cannot process direct card refunds. If you have any billing discrepancies or wish to request a refund, please contact our support team. Approved refunds will be applied as application credits on your Shopify account.
