Currency settings allow you to convert prices from local Amazon marketplaces into the base currency of your Shopify store when importing listings. To enable this, navigate to: Spreadr Dashboard > Settings > Default Values > Currency and select your store currency.
Conversion Example
If your store currency is AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) and you import a USD product from Amazon.com, enabling currency conversion translates the USD pricing to AED based on near-real-time rates.
Key Parameters
- Default Option: Setting the currency selector to "Default" bypasses conversion. Product values are imported directly as they appear on Amazon.
- Markup Logic: Active Markup Pricing rules are applied to your products after the currency conversion occurs.
- Auto-Sync compatibility: Currency conversion applies to price updates run via Auto-sync updates.
- Update Frequency: Conversion exchange rates refresh in our database every 3 hours.
