Before You Begin
- Browser compatibility: This extension is compatible with Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (e.g. Brave, Microsoft Edge, Opera).
- Plan Availability: Product importing via the browser extension is available for merchants on the Pro plan and above.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Install the Extension
Download and install our Free Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Step 2: Visit a Product Page
Go to Amazon and open any product details page that you want to import.
Step 3: Save Your Spreadr API Key
Click the Spreadr Extension icon in the top-right corner of your browser toolbar. Paste your Spreadr API key in the field and click save. You only need to do this once.
Step 4: Import to Shopify
Click the Add to Shopify button inside the extension window.
The product details will be parsed and automatically added to your Shopify catalog.
Tips
- High-Resolution Image Fix: If the extension imports low-resolution product images, click the main zoom image on the Amazon product page before clicking the Spreadr Chrome extension. This forces the browser to load the high-res file.
- Predefined Import Rules: Products imported via the extension will respect all import, price markup, and tag settings configured in your Spreadr app dashboard.
