If you're seeing the "API Access Temporarily Revoked" error in Spreadr, it means your Amazon Associates account currently does not have access to the Amazon Creators API.
This issue is controlled by Amazon and cannot be resolved from within the Spreadr app.
Common Reasons
No Qualifying Referred Sales
Amazon may temporarily revoke API access if your Amazon Associates account does not generate qualifying referred sales within the required eligibility period.
API access is restored automatically once your account becomes eligible again.
API Request Limits
Amazon applies request limits to the Creators API. If your application exceeds its allocated request quota, additional requests may be temporarily throttled until the quota is replenished.
What You Can Do
- Verify that your Amazon Associates account is active.
- Ensure your affiliate links are generating qualifying referred sales.
- If you recently became eligible again, allow some time for Amazon to restore API access.
- Reconnect your Amazon account in Spreadr after your API access has been restored, if required.
Note: Spreadr cannot enable or restore Amazon API access. API eligibility and request limits are managed entirely by Amazon.
