Highlights Visitor Counter

The Visitor Counter feature lets you show how many people are viewing a product — creating urgency and social proof that can encourage faster purchase decisions.

Before You Begin

• The {{VisitorCount}} dynamic data field requires a Gold Plan subscription.
• Create or edit a Highlight in the Smart App dashboard.

How It Works

The Smart App allows creating Highlights that display the total visitor count for any product within a given timeframe.

Examples: 56 visitors in the last hour OR 7 people currently viewing

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Create or edit a Highlight in the Smart App dashboard.
2. In the Highlight text, add the {{VisitorCounter}} dynamic data field.
3. Go to Visitor Count Settings to configure the timeframe for calculating visitors.
4. Optionally add a display condition based on the visitor count number.
5. Click Save.

Expected Result

Matching product pages show a live visitor count inside the Highlight Box — updating based on your configured timeframe.

Important Notes

• The {{VisitorCount}} dynamic data field is available for Gold Plan users only.
• If your account is downgraded after adding Highlights with Visitor Count, those Highlights will stop displaying.
