The Variant Gallery Block lets you display unique images and videos for each product variant, giving shoppers a more accurate and engaging shopping experience.
Instead of showing the same media for every option, the gallery automatically updates when a customer selects a different variant. For example, when a shopper chooses the Red t-shirt, they'll instantly see the images and videos for the Red variant.

How does it work?
Setting up Variant Galleries is simple and intuitive.
Step 1: Setup the metafield
1. On your app dashboard homepage, locate the "Variant Galleries" block.
2. Click on "Setup Metafield" to automatically create a variant-level metafield called neo.variant_gallery.
2. Assign medias to each variant
1. Go to your Shopify admin and navigate to the specific variant you wish to edit.
2. Scroll down to Metafields and look for "Neo Variant Galleries".
3. Click “Select files” and upload your variant’s images and videos you want to display on your product page.
Step 3: Save your changes
Click "Save" to ensure your variant Galleries are updated in Shopify.
Step 4: Customize your product template.
Go to "Customize theme settings" > Select the Product template > Add and place the "Neo Variant Gallery block" as per your requirement.
Step 5: Apply the styling to match your theme
Within the block settings: adjust background color, border size, and gallery layout styling. Preview changes to ensure it blends seamlessly with your store design.
Step 6: Publish it.
Finally, hit “Save” to publish your updated product pages.
Please Note:
Supported media formats:
- For images: JPEG, PNG, WEBP, SVG, HEIC, and GIF. File size must be under 20 MB.
- For videos: MOV and MP4. File size must be under 1 GB.
