The app supports running multiple edit and rollback tasks simultaneously. However, we recommend running tasks one at a time whenever possible.
Running multiple tasks at the same time can cause:
- Overlapping product updates – If multiple tasks edit the same product, it may be difficult to determine which task made the latest changes.
- Slower processing – Shopify API limits affect how quickly the app can process updates when multiple tasks are running.
Processing Speed
On average, the app can update approximately 2 items per second. This is an estimate, and the actual processing speed may vary depending on the number of products being updated and your Shopify plan's API limits.
When multiple tasks run simultaneously, the available API capacity is shared between them. As a result, each task may process more slowly and can sometimes appear to be stuck even though it is still running.
For better performance, we recommend scheduling edit and rollback tasks one after another, especially when working with different product groups.
Concurrent Task Limit
The app allows up to 3 tasks to run simultaneously. If 3 tasks are already running, any new task will be automatically paused. You can review and restart the paused task after one of the running tasks is completed.
Note: Edit and rollback tasks can be scheduled at the same time and will still be processed successfully. However, running them concurrently may significantly increase the overall processing time.
