Activating Markup Pricing automatically applies rules to all new imports. To apply these rules to products you have already imported to BigCommerce, you can update them individually or all at once.
Before You Begin
- Configure your markup settings in the Spreadr dashboard first.
- Note that updating prices on existing products requires the Auto-sync feature to be enabled for your store.
There are 2 ways to apply markup pricing to the existing products.
1) Change the settings for each product individually:
Steps:
- Activate Auto-sync (ignore if already activated)
- Go to the Spreadr Dashboard Homepage and search for the product you want to mark up.
- Click on Settings (Actions column).
4. Select 'Update prices as per Markup Pricing Rules' option and hit 'Save'.
5. Repeat for all products you want to mark up.
2) Apply markup to all products at once:

These products will be marked up as per your pricing rules when Spreadr executes Auto-sync once every 24 hours
Expected Result
- Method 1 (Individual): The selected product's price will be updated to include the markup on the next sync cycle.
- Method 2 (Global): Spreadr will mark up your entire list of imported products as per your configured pricing rules.
- Sync Frequency: These markups will be updated automatically during the daily Auto-sync run (executed once every 24 hours).
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take for prices to update in my store?
Individual updates are processed on the next scheduled sync. Global updates will modify prices on your store over the course of the daily 24-hour sync cycle.
