How to Ship with FBA When SKUs Are Missing or Incorrect

To fulfill an order through Amazon FBA, the Shopify order must contain a valid SKU that matches an active SKU on Amazon.

If the SKU is missing or incorrect, follow these steps to update the order before fulfilling it.

Step 1: Add the SKU to the Shopify Product

Go to:

Shopify Admin → Products → Select the Product → Inventory → SKU

Enter the correct Amazon SKU and click Save.

Note: Updating the product SKU does not update existing orders automatically.

Step 2: Update the Existing Shopify Order

To apply the new SKU to an existing order:

  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Orders.
  2. Open the affected order.
  3. Click Edit (top-right corner).
  4. Remove the existing product from the order.
  5. Add the same product again with the same quantity.
  6. Click Update Order.

This recreates the order line item with the updated SKU.

Step 3: Refresh the Order in Shipr

After updating the Shopify order:

  1. Open the order in the Shipr app.
  2. Click the Sync/Refresh icon next to the Order ID.
  3. Wait for the order details to refresh.

The updated SKU will now be reflected in Shipr.

Step 4: Fulfill the Order via FBA

Once the order has been refreshed and the correct SKU is visible, click Ship with FBA to submit the fulfillment request to Amazon.

Important: Shipr can only fulfill orders when the SKU exists on the order and matches an active Amazon FBA SKU.
