Why a Professional Account is Required
- API Access: Shipr automates your fulfillment by connecting directly to Amazon’s Selling Partner API (SP-API).
- Account Restrictions: Amazon strictly limits SP-API access to Professional Seller accounts. Individual selling accounts are not eligible to authorize or integrate with third-party apps like Shipr.
- Upgrading: If you currently have an Individual account, you can easily upgrade to a Professional plan within your Amazon Seller Central settings at any time to unlock this capability.
