Outlink lets you add custom external links to your Shopify products, making it easy to guide customers to affiliate websites, partner stores, product pages, booking portals, or any other external destination.
Here's how it works:
1. Install the App
Install Outlink External Links Button from the Shopify App Store and complete the initial setup.
2. Add the Outlink App Block
Add the Outlink app block to your Shopify theme by following the steps in the Installation Guide.
Note
If the Outlink app block or code has already been added to your theme, you can skip this step.
3. Assign External Links to Your Products
From the Outlink app dashboard, choose the products you want to redirect and add the corresponding external or affiliate URL for each product. Know more
4. Outlink Replaces the "Add to Cart" Button
Once an external link is configured, Outlink automatically replaces the default Add to Cart button on the product page with your custom Outlink button. You can also display both buttons together, depending on how you want customers to interact with your products- Know more
5. Guide Customers to the Right Destination
When customers interact with the Outlink button on a product page, they'll be directed to the external URL you've configured for that product.
This could be:
- An affiliate product page
- A partner website
- A marketplace listing
- A booking or registration page
- Any other external webpage
6. Earn Affiliate Commissions
If you're using affiliate links, you'll earn commissions according to the terms and conditions of your affiliate program or partner network.
