The Location Blacklist feature allows you to exclude specific Shopify locations from inventory synchronization.
Once a location is blacklisted, the Duplicate SKU Sync app will no longer update inventory for duplicate SKUs at that location.
This is useful if you want to synchronize inventory only for selected locations while leaving others unmanaged.
How It Works
Suppose your store has three Shopify locations:
- Location A
- Location B
- Location C
You want Duplicate SKU Sync to manage inventory only for Location A and Location B.
Simply add Location C to the Location Blacklist.
After doing so:
- Inventory continues to sync for Location A.
- Inventory continues to sync for Location B.
- Inventory at Location C is excluded from synchronization.

- Exclude warehouses, retail stores, or temporary locations from automatic updates.
- Prevent unwanted inventory changes at selected locations.
- Maintain different inventory management workflows across locations.
Important Notes
- Once a location is added to the Location Blacklist, Duplicate SKU Sync will not synchronize inventory for that location.
- Inventory updates through the app's Quick View and Detailed View pages are also disabled for blacklisted locations.
- Inventory synchronization continues normally for all non-blacklisted locations.
Tip: Use the Location Blacklist when certain Shopify locations are managed independently or should not participate in duplicate SKU inventory synchronization.
