Before uninstalling the app, you must restore your Shopify currency format to its original value. This ensures that your store continues to display prices correctly after the app is removed.
Step 1: Restore Shopify Currency Format
Navigate to your Shopify Admin → Settings → General (or the currency settings section) and revert the following fields to their original values:
- HTML with currency
- HTML without currency
Refer to the image below for guidance.
Important: If you previously added the Dual Price Display code to these fields during installation, be sure to remove it before uninstalling the app.
Step 2: Uninstall the App
- Log in to your Shopify Admin.
- Go to Apps.
- Click Apps and sales channel settings.
- Locate Dual Price Display in the list of installed apps.
- Click Uninstall and confirm your choice.
That's it! The app is now uninstalled. There is no residual code or leftover files that need to be manually removed. For detailed instructions check out the Shopify guide to uninstall the app.
Note: Once the app is uninstalled, the app subscription terminates automatically.
